To effectively cultivate employees' fire prevention awareness and self-protection capabilities, and to strengthen the safety line for employees' lives, this week, the VIETNAM MLS HOLDINGS CO., LTD Vietnam factory was invited to the local fire center. Our employees participated in a one-day professional fire safety training, which combined theoretical explanations with practical drills to popularize fire safety knowledge and enhance safety protection skills.
This training was meticulously prepared by the local fire department, with a customized curriculum tailored to the factory's actual production needs and employee safety requirements, balancing relevance and practicality. At the training site, senior instructors from the fire department served as lecturers, and professional translators were provided to ensure foreign employees accurately understood the key points. Firefighters used typical fire cases from local businesses, employing visual aids such as graphics and videos to deeply analyze the causes of fires. They focused on explaining key prevention points and hazard identification methods for common electrical fires and flammable material fires in factories, repeatedly emphasizing the importance of fire prevention awareness for personal safety. Simultaneously, the training meticulously broke down core content such as the correct fire alarm procedure, fire escape and self-rescue techniques, and principles for initial fire suppression, clarifying safety protection points in different scenarios and guiding employees to establish a "safety first, proactive prevention" mindset.
Following the theoretical learning, the practical training session commenced, serving as a key component of the training. In the dedicated training area of the fire station, instructors demonstrated the structure, applicable scenarios, and operational procedures of commonly used fire-fighting equipment such as dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants. They provided hands-on guidance to employees on the "lift, pull, grip, press" steps for using fire extinguishers, as well as key actions like opening fire hydrants, connecting hoses, and precise spraying. Employees lined up in groups and practiced in turn, with instructors patiently correcting their movements to ensure everyone mastered the correct use of fire-fighting equipment. Furthermore, instructors simulated a factory workshop fire scenario, organizing emergency evacuation drills to test employees' familiarity with escape routes and assembly points, as well as their emergency response capabilities. The entire drill was conducted in a tense but orderly manner, with clear division of labor, achieving the expected results.
The training session was highly engaging, with employees fully focused and diligently taking notes on key fire prevention and self-rescue techniques. They actively participated in the practical exercises, practicing repeatedly and proactively asking instructors questions about fire safety encountered in their daily work. The instructors patiently answered and demonstrated each question. An employee from the production line stated, "This training was very rewarding. We not only systematically mastered fire prevention knowledge and the skills of using fire-fighting equipment, but also gained a deeper understanding of the close connection between our own safety and fire prevention work. From now on, we will always be vigilant about safety, proactively avoid potential workplace hazards, and protect the lives of ourselves and our colleagues."
This invitation to participate in fire safety training not only effectively enhanced the fire prevention awareness and self-protection capabilities of employees at the VIETNAM MLS HOLDINGS CO., LTD Vietnam factory, but also built a good communication bridge between the company and the local fire department. Factory representatives stated that they will cherish such training opportunities in the future, continuously strengthen cooperation with the fire department, actively organize employees to participate in various fire safety learning activities, integrate fire safety concepts into daily work, effectively strengthen the safety defense line for employees, and lay a solid foundation for the stable operation of the company.
